PRINCES HWY RESERVE

Public BBQ

Princes Highway Reserve emerges as a remarkably comprehensive recreational facility that manages to cater to an impressive variety of community needs without feeling overcrowded. The expansive green ovals, meticulously maintained with pristine grass that visitors genuinely enjoy walking on, anchor this well-planned space alongside proper football posts and a bocce court that adds unexpected charm. The outdoor gym equipment proves genuinely useful rather than tokenistic, featuring elliptical trainers, chest press, leg press, and stretching stations that complement the natural exercise opportunities. Clean toilets and thoughtfully placed recycling bins demonstrate solid council maintenance, while the single BBQ area serves families adequately, though shade remains limited during summer months. The reserve's highway-adjacent location ensures easy accessibility while the open spaces accommodate everything from Auskick training to sunset photography. Despite ongoing playground upgrade delays and occasional pet waste issues, the facility delivers comprehensive recreational value that justifies its popularity among locals seeking quality outdoor exercise and community gathering space.
